I welcome you to the Medicine Circle! I created the Medicine Circle website to keep in touch and inform you about healing. In these pages, I share healing stories about the benefits of Reiki and Shamanic Healing. I try to remain aware and make observations about the healing that occurs in my own life as I continue to practice, for myself and to help others. I am amazed and humbled by the benevolent compassionate healing forces that are around us - and often, all we need to do is ask for help and have an intention to heal and change. My goal with the site and in my practice is to provide self-empowering tools to others, provide healing through Reiki and Shamanism and offer some guidance in using both modalities. I suffered from depression for over 20 yrs. After the first 4years or so, I got to the point where drugs just didn’t work for me anymore. This led me to do more and more inner psychological work. But while I was learning and understanding so much about myself, I had no idea how to change how I felt.
Changing the way one thinks, I found out, wasn’t so hard, but how does one change what one feels. This is what almost drove me out of my mind; this was my greatest challenge. I mean, what’s the use of knowing so much but still be too scared to walk out my front door. I had the mind of an adult yet felt emotionally like a child. Powerless in my own personal prison.
This is what led me to seek Daniel’s help.
I was so tired of living like two people, one a child the other an adult. I felt fragmented. I had no idea if shamanic healing would actually work for me or what it was, but it did…………It took about 7 weeks to see the changes in myself but each day I still see changes. COURSE OUTCOMES
· The same group of participants will work together for one year. You will develop a general knowledge of a variety of modern shamanic healing techniques and skills and an in-depth knowledge of the shamanic journeying technique.
· Discover and learn how to use the shamanic journey for many purposes, to work with your power animals and spirit helpers. Discover how to use the technique to help you in your daily life or with creative projects and to do healing work with others.
· You will be supported in discovering your own medicine and apply it to help others and yourself.
· Deepen your connection with life and experience healings that bring fundamental shifts and align you with your higher purpose.
· After completing the training, you will receive a certificate in shamanic healing from The Medicine Circle.

Training sessions, spread out over a one year period as follows:
· Two 3-Day weekend retreat initiation at the http://www.bridgewaterretreat.ca , located 2 hours outside Toronto. First retreat session is May 11-12-13, 2012.
· 2 2-day trainings in between as a group in Toronto [in person]
· 2 2-hour one-on-one sessions to do journeys with Daniel
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
· Participants must commit to attend all sessions
· Participant must fill out an application, sign a waiver and provide a one-page handwritten letter describing yourself with a brief explanation as to why you want to take the course.
· To book your space into the course, a $150.00 + HST = $169.50 deposit is required. Your deposit will be refunded if you cancel by March 1st. No refunds will be issued after March 1st. Space in the course is limited to 12 participants.
Cost of course: $1500 + HST = 1695.00
Cost of lodging & meals [Bridgewater Retreat]: Approximately $285 each weekend, total $570.00
Transportation to Bridgewater is not included- we will set up a car pool to keep costs down and protect the environment
Course fees are payable as follows:
$169.50 to confirm attendance + 197.75 at the May 2012 Retreat $367.25 August 15th 2012 $593.25 November 30th 2012 $367.25 May 15th 2013
Lodging
NOTE: Lodging fees are payable at time of the retreat. Cost is approximately $285 for the retreat (per weekend). Cash or personal cheques only please.
Supplies for the course – FOR EVERY SESSION PLEASE BRING:
-You will need to bring your own drum and rattle to each session
-a notebook and pens
-Cushion, blanket to lie on for journeying,
-Eye bandana to cover your eyes during journeying
